Dental Examinations
Dental Examinations are important in helping to prevent oral health problems and to detect early any potentially serious dental problems, such as mouth cancers.
During your visit, your dentist will inspect and evaluate any prospective risk of developing gum diseases, tooth decay, mouth cancers and any other oral health problems. During the examination, dental X-rays may be taken to further check what the eyes cannot see. We will also check your neck, jaw and mouth for any abnormalities.
Your dentist may also discuss with you amongst other things:
- Denplan: An effective way to budget for routine dental care
- Hygienist treatments
- Consequences and effects of tooth loss
- Dental implants and dentures: a comfortable means to replacing a lost tooth
- Benefits of crowns and bridges
- Other cosmetic treatment
